This policy explains what information Compass Glass LLC, doing business as Compass Auto Glass (“Compass,” “we,” “us”), collects when you visit www.compass.glass or contact us, and how we use it. We are a local auto glass shop at 200 S Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, TX 76131.

Information we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us, plus basic technical data from your browser:

• Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and service address when you call, text, email or fill out our quote form.
• Vehicle details: year, make, model, VIN or plate, and photos of the damage you text or upload.
• Insurance details: your carrier, policy or claim number and deductible, if you ask us to file a glass claim for you.
• Website data: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

We do not take card payments on this website.

How we use it

• To quote your job, schedule the work and contact you about it.
• To verify coverage, file your claim and bill your insurer.
• To order the correct glass and parts and to perform and document ADAS calibration.
• To honor warranty requests and keep records of the work we did.
• To understand how people use the site so we can improve it.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Who we share it with

• Your insurance company and the claims administrators that handle glass claims for it, when you ask us to bill your insurer.
• Glass and parts suppliers, limited to the vehicle details needed to fill your order.
• Service providers that run our website, forms, phone and email (for example, Squarespace hosts this site and processes form submissions).
• Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights.

Cookies, analytics and embedded content

This site runs on Squarespace, which sets cookies needed for the site to work and to measure traffic. We may also use analytics and advertising tools, such as Google Analytics and Google Ads, to see which pages and ads bring people to us. Our service-area map is embedded from Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when it loads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Text messages

If you text us, we use your number to reply about your quote and appointment. We do not send marketing texts. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Tell us at any time if you want us to stop texting you.

How long we keep it

We keep job, invoice, insurance and calibration records for as long as we need them for warranty, tax and legal purposes. Quote requests that never become a job are deleted when they are no longer useful.

Security

We limit access to customer information to the people who need it to do the work, and we rely on service providers that use industry-standard security. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure.

Your choices

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging vehicle repairs. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy
